Midland presents the new transceiver marine portable ARCTIC. ARCTIC is born to satisfy the needs of communication in all types of navigation.

It is a device that electronically advanced that enables reliable communication on the 57 international channels for the marine band.

ARCTIC is a radio compact and professional design, it features a metal chassis that guarantees its strength.

It is certified IP67: total protection from dust and immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes.

For added security, the ARCTIC is equipped with a button 16 which allows the immediate access to emergency channel 16.

Among other functions point out the Frequency and Triple Watch for monitoring 2 or 3 channels of your choice, the setting of the priority channel which is monitored during the TripleWatch and the squelch is adjustable in 10 levels available.

The LCD display and the keyboard is backlit to allow use in the dark. For greater efficiency, the ARCTIC comes with a battery pack Li‐Ion battery 1600mAh.

Thanks to the programming software optional PRG‐G15 you can manage and program certain functions, such as, for example, the bandwidth of operation, Power save, VOX, the all-channel scan, voice annunciation, private channels and so on.
